Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is a full-time law enforcement agency that consists of 18 Patrol Deputies, 4 Sergeants, 5 Detectives, 7 full-time and 2 part-time Court Security, and 6 Office Staff. The Sheriff’s Office patrols 424 square miles that includes Bardstown, Bloomfield, New Haven, Fairfield, Boston, Chaplin, and New Hope. Our office is located next to the Nelson County Justice Center on Plaza Drive.
